If you have registered your domain with the registrar www.Gandi.net (which we have been satisfied with since 2001), you will
need to manually change the DNS
information
on Gandi.net, so that your domain name points to your JSM-Hosting account.
Enter your Gandi identifier (typically XXnnn-GANDI) and password;
You should reach the list of domain names you've registered with Gandi.
Select the one you want to host on JSM-Hosting.
In the drop-down menu at the bottom of the page, click on <Update DNS> in the "Technical changes" section.
Provide your registrar with our
DNS servers' data:
DNS1: "ns1.servershost.net" (IP: "181.214.142.233" usually not needed)
(NEW since Dec 31 2017)
DNS2: "ns2.servershost.net" (IP: "104.37.87.6" usually not needed)
(NEW since Dec 31 2017)
Click on <Submit>.
If unsuccessful, you may get a message like "webhosting company not registered with Gandi".
This new DNS information will have to cascade throughout the web. Therefore
your domain name will only point to JSM-Hosting (and really be "active")
one or two days later.
